Sesame Twist Biscuit
Ingredients
-> 400 gm plain flour
-> 150 gm margarine
-> 80 gm sugar
-> 8 gm salt
-> 200 ml water
-> 100 gm sesame (for topping)
-> 2 tsp baking powder
Method
-> Combine margarine, sugar and salt into a bowl, beat for 2 minutes
-> Then put in flour and water, well stir
-> Rest the dough for 30 minutes, roll flat the dough and single fold
-> Rest again for 10 minutes, roll flat, thickness about 0.5 cm
-> Sprinkle sesame on top, press with roller, do the something for another side
-> Cut into 10 cm long and 1 cm weight strip
-> Combine 2 strips and twist, then fold 2 end into a 'U' and twist, join two end
-> Heat up half pot of oil, deep fry twist biscuit till golden brown
-> Drain and sprinkle icing sugar on top
芝麻辫子饼
成分
-> 400克普通面粉
-> 150克马芝林菜油
-> 80克细糖
-> 8克细盐
-> 200毫升水
-> 100克芝麻
-> 2茶匙发粉
方法
-> 面粉和发粉过筛,备用
-> 将马芝林菜油,细糖和细盐混合搅拌大约2分钟
-> 倒入面粉和发粉混合物和水搅拌均匀
-> 让面团休息30分钟
-> 用面杆将面团杆扁,厚度大概半公分,然后将两边折合,再休息10分钟
-> 再次杆扁面团
-> 把芝麻洒在面团上,用面杆将芝麻压实,翻面,重复同样的动作
-> 将面团切成约10公分长,1公分宽的长条形
-> 把2个长条形合在一起扭转,然后两端成‘U’形后再次扭转
-> 最后将两端合起捏合起来
-> 烧热半锅油,用慢火将辫子饼炸至酥脆
-> 起锅淋干油分,乘热洒上糖粉
